my  SMS Giveaway?  I’m sure you’re dying to find out, right?  Well before I announce the winner, can I say a few words first?

Firstly, thank you for entering my giveaway, all 391 of you.  I can’t believe that so many of you actually wanted to enter.  Secondly, I am touched that you took the time to write helpful comments relating to my road trip question and I read every comment (yes, every single one of them), so will let you know how I go.  Finally, I hope you had a great time blog hopping, entering giveaways and winning some.

Now, down to the important business of announcing our winner, we had a hard time choosing one,

but the winner is Theresa, who made this wonderful comment for my daughter,

“You need to build a jewel covered horse drawn carriage that will fit your whole family.  Sprinkle it with magic glitter and hook on the flying unicorns.  Make sure you have all the secret compartments filled with coloring books, stickers and games.  Everyone has to wear their favorite dress up outfit for the trip – even Mom and Dad.  Good luck and happy travels.”

But wait, as there were so many comments, I decided to give someone else another set of Prints Charming one off hand printed fabrics.  This set is slightly smaller in size but hey, it’s still the same yummy stuff.

So our runner up is Teddi, I love her idea.

“Great giveaway! I’m the mom of 5 kids (11 down to 3).  For traveling – everyone has had such great suggestions about packing coloring books, books, snacks, etc.  My idea: get a roll of coins for the 4 yr old and tell her that however many coins are left when you get to your destination she can use to buy something fun for herself! Use the coins to discourage whining, complaining and bad behavior (lol).  If she goes 15-20 min without doing those things then put a coin in a special bag or coin purse for her and congratulate her on making it that long!”
