from the Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day which finished on the 20th May 2010.  This was the first time I’ve entered the giveaways so generously donated by crafters from around the world.  It was a huge list of blogs to visit but thankfully it was divided into 3 “giveaway day” lists.  So I spent the first day looking at blogs from the Handcrafted Item(s) + Supplies/Materials, the second day on Sewing + Knitting Supplies/Materials and the last day on Handcrafted Item(s).  Some blogs are well known in the crafting community, some I’ve visited before but most were nice surprises that I never knew existed.  There are just so many talented crafters out there in blogland, some do it full time as a job, some part time and others in their spare time.  But they all love creating and are passionate in their crafting.

What did I win you ask?  Well, it is this from BELLSJO in the UK.  Out of 803 comments, I was lucky enough to win some cool fabric scraps.  I can’t wait to dig in and see what other yummy fabrics are in the stash and see what I can make from them.

And my luck didn’t stop there, I also won a sewing pattern from Little Lizard King and chose the Brooke dress.  I thought this dress would look cute over a pair of tights or in the case of my daughter, over a pair of jeans.  I can’t wait to show you how this turns out.

So, I’m hoping I’ll be organised enough to participate in the next SMS giveaway as a host and maybe one of you will be my lucky winner.
