Believe it or not, Fabric Stash is also the name of an iPhone app created by BlueShift Software.  With my recent purchases (a-hem!), my ever growing stash is in need of an inventory of some sort.  I am currently using very basic Excel spreadsheets to keep track of my fabric purchases.  Problem is they’re not consolidated on one big spreadsheet, so it can take me a while to go through all the spreadsheets to see when I purchased a particular fabric etc.

So when I found out about Fabric Stash, I was keen to find out what it had to offer.  I like the idea that it allows the user to organise and view their stash by colour, style, manufacturer, line or project and you can carry all your stash in the palm of your hand.  And supposedly by keep an inventory of what we have and how much, there is a lesser chance of a duplicate purchase.

Now all I need to do is to “borrow” my daughter’s iPod Touch to give it a whirl and test drive it.
