I have in my possession some Anna Maria Horner voiles, and it’s true, the voiles are really soft, really silky and drapes beautifully.  But my inexperience (meaning no experience) with voiles meant that I had to choose a really simple project first. Anna-Maria-Horner-Voile-Figure-8-Scarf The finest (smallest) sewing machine needle I had was a size 75 and that seemed ok.  I used a 0.5″ seam allowance and serged the sides  for extra durability.  I found the voiles to be rather slippery and had to put on my quilting gloves to get a better grip.
