Self imposed deadline: Part 3
Yes, there is a part 3 to all this madness. After finishing the last bag, I still had one more gift to sew.

So at 2:30am Wednesday, I set about on this project, using some beautiful lavender from Mudbrick Cottage,

some linseeds (or flaxseeds) bought from a local health food shop,

and Patricia Bravo’s Art Gallery scraps to make this eye pillow. Instead of figuring out the dimensions myself, I used Amy Butler’s free eye pillow pattern.

Her pattern included a slip cover and a carry case which I think could double up as a lavender sachet for your cupboard.

I had to combine fabrics as I didn’t have the right size pieces and I wasn’t sure how it turned out. Not only did I NOT have great lighting in my sewing room but my eyes were pretty blurry by this stage.

But I think it turned out surprisingly alright and makes such a pretty gift. I’m hoping the friend will find it useful.
