Another wet day here, so finishing off the curtains for a friend – she has great taste, eh?

First time sewing with sheers, it wasn’t as bad as I thought.  Though not perfect, I think it would have been a lot worse if I didn’t use the walking foot.  I probably should have used a smaller needle but was too lazy to change it.  Hopefully, it won’t be too noticeable once it’s all up.

And how do you lengthen a pair of jeans when it’s cut too short?  Pretty much impossible but I added a bias strip to lengthen it so I could turn it up and sew the hem.

 

Hopefully Little Miss’s childcare teacher will be happy with it.
