It’s been nearly a week since I last twisted my back, which makes sitting for prolonged periods of time very painful.  I can’t even drive over speed humps, cough or laugh without hurting it.  My two year old doesn’t seem to understand though that mummy has a really sore back and can’t carry him.  And so I still carry him. As you can imagine, I’ve managed only a bit of sewing this week, well more like cutting actually.  I’ve been very precious about my scraps in the past, keeping eensy, teensy bits of fabrics taking up space in my over flowing scrap box.  But I’ve decided to be a bit ruthless and throwing out bits that I would never ever use.

Here they are, all ready to sew up, birthday presents for kids 3-5 in our Sunday school program.  I need to get them done soon as the first birthday is sometime in February.

Another use for my button paper clips.  Can you guess what I’m sewing?
