MIP Modified PeekABoo Toy Sack Tutorial (Part 2)
Ok, here’s the other method, first one can be found here.
Again, follow Toni’s tutorial until Step three.
1. Then press 0.5″ from the top edge.
2. Mark with disappearing pen 1″ and 2″ from the folded top edge.
3. Sew around the three sides, but do not sew between the two marks (this will be the hole for the ribbon to be threaded through).
I back stitch before the first marking then baste across the “gap” then back stitch after the second mark. Unpick the basting stitch.
4. Fold the lining pieces only right sides together.
5. Stitch across the gap, making sure to back stitch.
6. Top stitch 1/8″, 1″ and 2″ from the top edge to create casing.
And there you have it, another toy sack done with a different look.
I hope the pictures and explanations are clear, email me if you have any questions.
