Quilt Class 101: Hurrah! It’s finished!
Binding is finally sewn on. By the way, I did try to machine sew the binding on but was not very happy with how it looked, so it was back to hand sewing for me.
And here is it in all its glory, my first zig-zag quilt from Rebecca’s Quilt Class 101.
Final measurements are 50″ by 58″. I used 2 Moda City Weekend charm packs
Backing fabric is Amy Butler’s Nigella Ritzy Stripe in Sky. I used it to echo the zig-zags on the quilt top.
Binding is Michael Miller’s charcoal dumb dot.
Finally, quilting was kept to a minimum by echo quilting the zig-zags.
