All the blocks have been sewn up for the girly quillow and now I’m working on the quillow front.  I thought of trying to mimic the quilt block like in my boy quillow but I must admit that I was a bit lazy and didn’t want to cut up any more fabric (nor do any more piecing, yeah, I’m lazy).  So circles it is then.

But I feel that it still looks a little bit plain.  Should I do a bunch of french knots around the fabric circle?  Maybe running stitch on the fabric circle to hold it a bit more securely?

Anyway, saw this tutorial for a floss holder over at Wild Olive for all those left over strands that often get tangled up in my box and I just end up throwing them out anyway.  Great idea, huh?  By the way, she has some cute printables.  This is where I got my floss bobbins from.  And you can even get jumbo ones for ribbon or bias tape.

Now to work on the back of the quillow.
