Little Miss finished her first full week of school without too much dramas.  Some weekly chores for her and me of course, with her polishing her black school shoes and me ironing her uniform.  I don’t iron anything except for my sewing, so this will be a new challenge for me for the next few years (until she’s taught to iron it herself).  She’s also managed to collect a collection of work done at school already, am I cruel to be thinking of throwing them out?  Hopefully, she’ll be as keen to go back to school tomorrow as she did on her first day.

And if anyone is interested, hubby made these for our dinner tonight, salmon and avocado for mum and dad and cucumber only for the kids (they’re not into smoked salmon yet).  Our kids love them so much, I should learn to make them myself.
